Faymonville PrefaMAX for 4×2 and 6×2 tractors

For two generations, the management of May Transporte GmbH has focused on personal relationships with their own customers and staff. Appreciation and experience are also reflected in the composition and quality of their fleet. With over 150 vehicle units, the company from Rheinböllen in Rhineland-Palatinate concentrates on its core competencies – the transport of building materials, prefabricated elements and also timber. A total of 90 employees, most of them have been part of the team for many years, are responsible for the vehicle fleet and the implementation of their transportservice.

Long-term customer loyalty

We also maintain long-term relationships with many customers and are always looking forward to new tasks from well-known companies. May Transporte GmbH has been part of our customer base for 4 years. During this time we were able to contribute to the modernization of the fleet with three PrefaMAX from Faymonville. This year the delivery of the new vehicle took place in May – we could not have chosen a better time.

News for May in May

With their new PrefaMAX from Faymonville, the team of May Transporte GmbH has gotten a perfectly designed instrument for the transport of prefabricated components and similar “bulky” goods. The hydraulic lowering enables uncomplicated loading and unloading. The repositionable kingpin makes it possible, to use different tractor units. That means, the inloader can be used with 2- and 3-axle tractor units. The theoretically possible payload is a total of approx. 34,550 kg – depending on the equipment and of course on the tractor as well.

The three delivered semitrailers are all equipped with independent wheel suspension and hydraulic axle compensation, which enables lifting and lowering the axles separately. At the rear end of the approximately 9,500 mm long loading shaft, a door with cross bracing locks the vehicle. It can be locked hydraulically and opens completely flush with the rear end. As usual, the overall package impresses with its quality, regarding the materials as well as the workmanship. This includes the used fine-grain steel from the beginning and the final sealing of the chassis. In order to fight corrosion, the entire steel structure is steelblasted and then subjected to a zinc and aluminium finish before it is finally painted with  primer and coated in the desired color. The following applies here: You definitely don’t go wrong with red!
