Kanusport-Gemeinschaft Essen e.V.

Our famous lake Baldeneysee is not only a popular excursion destination, but also a true talent factory! Since the Kanusport-Gemeinschaft Essen e.V. was founded in 1971, the club has already produced numerous world champions and Olympic winners. We are pleased that we can support the athletes on their way to further success.

Our home club Rot-Weiss-Essen is also a matter close to our hearts, not only because of the geographical proximity of our company premises to the stadium Stadion an der Hafenstrasse. As a long-standing sponsor and supporter during the games, we continue to keep our fingers crossed that their way to the second Bundesliga will be successful in the nearest future.

Football is a matter close to our hearts in the Ruhr area. That is why we not only support RWE, but also small, traditional clubs whose members indulge in their shared passion with joy. It couldn’t be more traditional: The sports facility on Meerbruchstrasse is home to the club DJK Sportfreunde Katernberg 13/19 which represents over 100 years of history of amateur football in Essen.
