IAA Transportation 2026: Our review
Six days at the trade fair, many conversations, and new projects
IAA Transportation 2026 is behind us – and we look back on six intensive days in Hanover. At our stand in the outdoor exhibition area, we welcomed numerous customers, prospects, business partners and suppliers from Germany and abroad.
Practical topics
Above all, the personal exchange in Hanover once again demonstrated the importance of direct contact with customers, prospects and partners. Many of the topics we had identified in advance were reflected in the conversations with visitors to our stand.
Heavy-duty technology up close
Our trade fair presence focused on vehicles for demanding transport applications. Our pendulum-axle campaign, launched at the beginning of the year, was also a recurring topic in Hanover. The discussions confirmed the strong interest in vehicle concepts designed for high technical payload capacities and complex operating profiles.
Personal exchange at IAA Transportation
Surrounded by semi-low loaders, tractor units, trucks and trailers, countless technical discussions took place throughout the event. A recurring question was which combination of vehicle, payload capacity, tractor unit and availability best suits a specific operating profile.
Initial contacts developed into concrete enquiries – and some of the conversations have already resulted in new projects.
More than semi-trailers
Telescopic semi-trailers in particular have long been one of the vehicle categories most closely associated with ES-GE. At the same time, the conversations at IAA Transportation showed how the perception of ES-GE has continued to evolve in recent years.
Tractor units, trucks with loading cranes and complete vehicle combinations are now just as naturally associated with the ES-GE brand.
Back to Essen with new projects
Our team has now returned to Essen with new contacts, concrete projects and numerous conversations in its luggage. The focus is already shifting to the next tasks – and to a special milestone: by the end of the year, ES-GE will be looking back on four decades of company history.
