A hands-on highlight: Our first MAX Trailer MAX710 ATX is here
MAX710 as a low-bed version with external beams
„Da ist das Ding“ (“There it is”) a former, very famous German soccer goalkeeper might say. And yes, one of the first available examples of the MAX Trailer MAX710 has arrived in Essen. It is the low-bed version with external beams (ATX). We previously presented the version with a backhoe loader, i.e., a central beam, as part of the market launch shortly before BAUMA.

Finally in Essen – Initial Check of the MAX Trailer MAX710
Of course, our team underwent intensive training a few weeks ago, and we were able to get a firsthand look at the MAX710 at the presentation at the Faymonville Group’s factory. When the vehicle is parked on your own yard, you still take the time to familiarize yourself with the numerous details. What did we notice? With the initial presentation of the new MAX Trailer MAX710, it was clear to us that a game-changer had been created in many respects. This was also confirmed by the intensive check we conducted on our premises after its arrival – including functional tests, handling checks, and, of course, a comprehensive photo shoot.

High-quality workmanship and components
The MAX710 ATX impresses with its high-quality workmanship, thoughtful details, and a clear focus on demanding transport tasks. Materials, components, and workmanship are of the usual high standard. This is evident not only in the visible areas. The entire chassis features HRM metallization to ensure long-lasting corrosion protection.

Detailed Solutions on the MAX710
Apart from the type of loading platform, this combination corresponds to the previously presented 2+4 configuration: a compact chassis with two axle lines at the front on the gooseneck and four axle lines in the rear chassis – an ideal setup for numerous heavy-duty applications. Particularly striking is the compact design, but above all the well-thought-out operating concept with intelligent detailed solutions. These include components that may only be noticed at second glance, such as the weight-optimized plastic ramps, which allow the front chassis to be moved onto the loading platform for empty runs. In addition, there are comprehensive packages for load securing and options for container transport.

The basic concept
The modular design is a self-contained system and can be adapted to various application scenarios. The MAX710, for example, can also be configured as a 3+5 combination. Loading platforms and chassis can be combined in various configurations. Quick-release fasteners on the hydraulic lines support operation and ensure clean and quick connection and disconnection of the lines.

Hydraulic functions at the touch of a button
All essential hydraulic functions – from lifting and lowering to steering – can be controlled manually via the radio remote control. At the touch of a button, the pendulum axles achieve a steering angle of up to 60° and offer a total stroke of up to approximately 600 mm. Of course, operation is also possible via the standard control panel on the boom. The hydraulic system is powered by a dedicated unit mounted on the boom. The remote control also helps here: A mounted Hatz Powerpack can be started remotely at the touch of a button.

Our conclusion on the MAX TRAILER MAX710
We have no doubt that the combination of craftsmanship, operating concept, and the exceptionally affordable price for a vehicle in this category will ensure that this low-bed combination will quickly establish itself on the market.
